Mezan Dominican Republic 2012 Rum 70cl Domaine Les Barthes Light oak influence adds subtleDistilled in the Dominican Republic in 2012 at the AFD distillery and aged in ex bourbon casks for 10 years (3 years tropical ageing and 7 years European ageing. An intense nose with some vanilla, cinnamon, muscovado notes, coconut, orange blossom and a hint of pepper. A rich oaky frame surrounds a softer body and rounded palate with some light oak and warming exotic spices. Quite balanced on the finish.
