Hendry Napa Valley Zinfandel Blocks 7 & 22 2022 SPS21 Sylvie AugereauBlock 7 was planted in 1975, and it has been the backbone of Hendry Zinfandel since the family's very first vintage in 1992. Before that, the fruit went to other wineries and helped build George Hendry's reputation as one of Napa's great growers. Here it is blended with Block 22, a younger planting on the same bench land west of the town of Napa, and the result is Zinfandel that behaves less like a jammy crowd pleaser and more like a structured Napa
