Since I am a desert dweller, my response to the topic In the Deep was to capture the deepest place in Arizona. The Grand Canyon, specifically the Colorado River, is the lowest place in the state coming in at about 70 80 feet above sea level. Worthy of all the accolades it receives, its vastness and beauty are humbling.
