The 58-64 impala has a funky front coil pocket that puts a hell of a side load on the cylinder making it hard to install front cylinders without issues

39-48 Chevy 2" Drop Arm Step Gusset *** FOR EXPERIENCED WELDERS ONLY****** FOR EXPERIENCED WELDERS ONLY*** To install gusset kit, lower arm needs to be cut at the base of the upright then Gussets need to be welded into place. This will give you a 2" drop, and will also save you about $900 from having to buy dropped uprights and dropped steering arms. These essentially do the same. (Kit comes with 4 pieces)
