THE MAT IT IS IN WILL MEASURE 8 X 10 ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE CONFETTI HERRING The herring was the first painting I did in the confetti series. I was thawing some herring on my kitchen island and as I walked by the light glances off the scales and WHAM BAM I was in right brain grabbing my brushes and paint. The counter is blue hence the background and the iridescence was intense.
