This spider known as the Straight horn baboon is known for its large horn that point directly up rather then facing backwards like C. darlingi. This spider has the largest horn out of any other tarantula in captivity. Reaching 5 6 inches as adults, these spiders are a great and very affordable addition to any collection. Described by Reginald Innes Pocock in 1879. Native to Zimbabwe & Mozambique.
