The outside of the Denver Convention Center has a modern metal look in some areas of the many blocks the building covers

I headed to Harbor Island which is along San Diego Bay

Even today months after the lake was drained there are still people out with metal detectors looking for treasure

With a 30 second exposure I was able to capture the movement of the clouds and start to also include in the image the stars as the day ended

Denver Evening from City Park Building The outside of the DenverUpon landing back in Denver it appeared the clouds were lining up for a dramatic sunset in the mile high city. As I was driving home I was thinking about a couple of locations to take advantage of this light and came up with City Park due to time concerns. About a half hour prior to sunset everything was still looking great in the sky and as I quickly stopped home they mentioned it on the early news that it could be a colorful sunset once again.
