These findings echo those of similar rat studies by Khanna and Sharma, 35 Alaei et al, 36 and Kulkarni et al, 23 in which mice injected with morphine twice daily were found to be significantly less likely to develop tolerance and dependence to the drug if they were pre-treated with AA (400-1600 mg/kg)
