From a distillery that built its reputation on vintages rather than age statements, this epic cask proves 1997 to be a truly blockbuster year. Colour: Polished copper. Nose: Orange peel, candlewax, dried coconut and leather. Palate: Barley sugar, pink grapefruit and crystallized pineapple. Finish: Vanilla fudge crumbles gently to red grape and dark chocolate.
