Bird Head Tolkniv Dated 2002 Norway and Sweden celebrate theGene was charmed to see how adding an eye to the shaped wood of the knife handle could so convincingly evoke a simple bird form. This is a Tolkniv (work knife) although embellished with sterling silver sculpted to the red leather sheath, which is also pouted into the suggestion of a wing.
