Hijas del Rey en San Pedro de Macorís | Daughters of the King in San Pedro de Macorís
El sábado 17 de octubre del 2020, fue celebrada en modalidad virtual la 14 Asamblea Nacional de las Hijas del Rey de la Diócesis de la República Dominicana. La Asamblea inicio con la transmisión de la Santa Eucaristía a las 9:00 a.m. desde la Capilla San Juan Evangelista y Apóstol, del Centro Diocesano, a través de Facebook y continuó con el desarrollo de los trabajos de la misma a través de la plataforma de zoom con la Mesa Directiva, acompaña del Capellán Nacional de la Orden Rev. P. Diego Sabogal, coordinando desde las instalaciones del Centro Diocesano, destacando la valiosa colaboración de Miqueas Saintivil en el soporte técnico del evento. El tema y el lema del referido evento fueron:
TEMA: “Tu Palabra Señor, Mensajera De Amor” (Isaías 55:11)
LEMA: “Restauradas En Cristo, Para Servir Con Amor Y Esperanza” (Zacarías 9:12).
On Saturday, October 17, 2020, the 14th National Assembly of the Daughters of the King of the Diocese of the Dominican Republic was held in virtual mode. The Assembly began with the transmission of the Holy Eucharist at 9:00 a.m. from the Chapel of San Juan the Evangelista y Apostol, at the Diocesan Center, through Facebook and continued with the development of the work of the activity through the Zoom Platform with the Board of Directors, accompanied by the National Chaplain of the Order Rev. Fr. Diego Sabogal, coordinating from the facilities of the Diocesan Center, highlighting the valuable collaboration of Miqueas Saintivil in the technical support of the event. The theme and slogan of the event were:
Theme: “Your Word Lord, Messenger of Love” (Isaiah 55:11)
Slogan: “Restored In Christ, To Serve With Love And Hope” (Zechariah 9:12).

Contamos con la presencia de nuestro Obispo Diocesano Rvdmo. Moisés Quezada y el Rvdmo. Obispo William Skilton y su esposa, Capellán de las Hijas del Rey internacionales. Tuvimos la participación de 23 capítulos representados por 41 delegadas, 44 Hijas del Rey en calidad de invitadas integradas en el evento a través de la pantalla de zoom reunidas desde sus congregaciones, colegios episcopales y hogares, 8 capellanes de las iglesias locales, Pamela Runyon de la Casa Nacional, la presidenta de la Orden de las Hijas del Rey de Haití, y un nutrido grupo de invitadas de nuestras iglesias locales, Para una participación total de 113 personas. La Rev. Maribel Natera Millien de la iglesia Santísima Trinidad, en Miami, tuvo a cargo la parte reflexiva del evento. En dicho evento se eligió la delegada a la 63 Convención Diocesana; fueron presentados informes de las actividades de 10 capítulos, se presentaron los informes financieros y se aprobó el presupuesto de la orden 2020-2021, además de ser un tiempo de amor fraternal y mucho gozo entre todas los participantes.
We had the presence of our Diocesan Bishop Rev. Moses Quezada and Rev. Bishop William Skilton and his wife, Chaplain of the Daughters of the King International. We had the participation of 23 chapters represented by 41 delegates, 44 Daughters of the King as guests integrated into the event through the zoom screen gathered from their congregations, episcopal schools and homes, 8 chaplains of local churches, Pamela Runyon of the National House, the president of the Order of the Daughters of the King of Haiti, and a large group of guests from our local churches, for a total participation of 113 people. Rev. Maribel Natera Millien of the Holy Trinity Church in Miami was in charge of the reflective part of the event. At that event the delegate was elected to the 63 Diocesan Convention; were presented reports of the activities of 10 chapters, presented the financial reports and approved the budget of the order 2020-2021, in addition to being a time of brotherly love and much joy among all the participants.
