As I walked along these one evening the sun was starting to set allowing me to posting myself in a location where the sun would be behind the metal

What this did is let the stacks position themselves into the right bottom of the frame and give plenty of negative or open space in the image allowing a minimal composition

I headed into the foothills where I had a perspective looking down at a road below

The clouds in the scene were filling the sky and just the presence of the bridges grounds the clouds providing the context of the day
