Botanical Top Whorl Resin Drop Spindle - Rose and Viola, 34 grams wool bamboo fibre and viscose neppsA lovely, well balanced drop spindle made with a resin whorl and an ash wood shaft. The whorl includes a sprinkling of real rose blossom and a viola flower. There is a bubble in the resin on one of the rose flowers, which occurred as a happy accident and which twinkles as the spindle spins. The hand turned shaft of this spindle was shaped as one with the whorl, resulting in superior balance. The whorl was created on the lathe from one of my own custom
