In this design plant material was used to mask the area and those parts remained pale whilst the other areas developed a darker blue colour

The dusky pink is subtle and complimented by the silver rondelle and purple glass seed beads

silver plated and created using an image of a gorgeous fossilised fern as the base

The original is a print and a fragment of that work has been scaled down to be included in the necklace

Inspired by the lichens growing on the fence posts on the path through the farm behind my home. Comes in a chunky white painted frame, outer measurement is 18cm x 18cm and 3. 5cm deep.
