and is beautifully preserved under early flat glass (bubbles in it) and with a fine dore bronze mount

Portrait Miniature, Signed, Ornate 7" Gilt Frame 22k William Halstaff started his businessFabulous antique Victorian hand painted portrait miniature, artist "Gaby" signed and set in an ornate 7 1 4" cast gilt ormolu frame! Okay so the frame and miniature are not original to each other but aren't they superb together! Larger than average, the painting is 3 7 8" x 3 1 8" and still has the original drop beveled glass and vellum seals! Unidentified but the sitter is a relatively :) handsome woman with flamboyant hat & large plum! Fine detail
