Polished Septarian Nodule Uruguayan Amethyst Unique piece in that itSeptarian Geode from Utah. The geode cavity is filled with nodules covered in sparkling yellow crystals. These crystals are framed by a crackle pattern of grey and brown. Septarian is derived from the Latin work septem meaning seven. These nodules were formed 50 70 million years ago in Utah. Mud balls which created this mineral cracked with seven points in every direction creating the crackle pattern. The yellow centers are composed of Calcite, the
