El encuentro de los jóvenes en Boca Chica | The youth meeting in Boca Chica.
El jueves 24 de septiembre se celebró el Día Nacional de la Juventud Episcopal Dominicana bajo el tema ‘‘Jesús nuestro héroe perfecto’’. Ante el reto de la pandemia, la directiva de la juventud decidió realizar la festividad en los diferentes arcedianatos de la diócesis; El Arcedianato Este tuvo como anfitriona la Iglesia San Gabriel en Consuelo, San Pedro de Macorís; el Arcedianato Centro la Iglesia San José en la ciudad de Boca Chica, contando allí con la presencia del Rvdmo. Moisés Quezada, Obispo Diocesano; y el Arcedianato Sur Profundo tuvo como anfitriona la Iglesia La Redención en Barahona.
On Thursday, September 24th, the National Day of Dominican Episcopal Youth was celebrated with the theme of ”Jesus Our Perfect Hero.” Faced with the challenge of the pandemic, the leadership of the youth decided to hold the festivity in the different archdeaneries of the diocese. The East Archdeaery had as host the Church of San Gabriel in Consuelo, San Pedro de Macorís; the Center Archdeanery the Church San José in the city of Boca Chica with the presence of the Rt. Rev. Moses Quezada, Diocesan Bishop; and the Deep South Archdeanery had as host La Redención Church in Barahona.

La actividad inició con una Santa Eucaristía, desayuno y luego una programación semejante para los diferentes arcedianatos.
The activity began with a Holy Eucharist, breakfast and then a similar program for the different archdeaneries.

Esta festividad dio inicio a lo que será un estudio intensivo virtual de anglicanismo que tiene como objetivo orientar a los jóvenes y miembros en general de la Diócesis sobre la Identidad Episcopal. Dicha propuesta surge en respuesta de un llamado que se ha hecho por la Juventud Episcopal que busca desarrollar su entidad como cristianos anglicanos.
This festivity started what will be a virtual intensive study of Anglicanism that aims to give guidance to the youth and general members of the Diocese on Episcopal identity. This proposal comes in response to a call that has been made by the Episcopal Youth seeking to develop their identity as Anglican Christians.
