El domingo, 06 de septiembre 2020, el Rdmo. Moisés Quezada Mota, Obispo diocesano de la Iglesia Episcopal Dominicana, hizo su visita pastoral a las congregaciones Iglesia Episcopal Santiago Apóstol en la comunidad de Angelina e iglesia San Pedro Apóstol en Los Conucos, Juan Dolio. El Rdo. Jean Nephtaly Desir, vicario de ambas congregaciones, acompañó al Obispo Quezada. El clero y los miembros de las congregaciones llevaban mascarillas y guardaron el distanciamiento social durante los servicios para seguir las precauciones adecuadas durante esta pandemia.
On Sunday, September 6, 2020, the Rt. Rev. Moisés Quezada Mota, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic, made pastoral visitations to the congregations of Santiago Apóstol in Angelina and San Pedro Apóstol in Los Conucos, Juan Dolio. The Rev. Jean Nephtaly Desir, vicar of both congregations, accompanied Bishop Quezada. The clergy and members of the congregations wore masks and observed social distancing during the services to follow the proper precautions during this pandemic.

Varios equipos misioneros de los Estados Unidos han trabajado en estas comunidades en los últimos años, sobre todo el equipo médico Holl con sede en Charleston, Carolina del Sur. Antes de la pandemia, el equipo de Holl suele venir a Angelina dos veces al año para tratar a pacientes con diabetes e hipertensión. Aunque la mayor parte de su tiempo la han dedicado en Angelina, también han tenido clínicas médicas en Los Conucos. Lamentablemente, la pandemia ha hecho que se cancelen estos viajes de operativos médicos.
Mission teams from the United States have worked in these communities in recent years, most notably the Holl medical team based in Charleston, South Carolina. Before the pandemic, the Holl team has a history of coming to Angelina twice each year to treat patients with diabetes and hypertension. Although most of their time has been spent in Angelina, they have also held medical clinics in Los Conucos. Sadly, the pandemic has caused those medical mission trips to be canceled.
